Bronwyn Wall

bronwyn Bronwyn Wall has been sewing since her nana taught her when she was 7 years old. She has enjoyed it ever since.

Throughout primary and secondary school, Bronwyn was a part of Girls' Brigade, were she was able to expand her sewing skills. In her final two years in Girls' Brigade she also completed her Queen's award which is an international award. For her major project she designed and made a single bed quilt of her trip to Paris and the UK.

While Bronwyn was doing her VCE, a textiles class wasn't offered at her school, so she choose to do graphics were she designed underwear and a formal dress. Bronwyn also made the formal dress not only for her final piece for her graphics class, but she was also able to wear it to her year 12 formal.

During her VCE, Bronwyn completed a Certificate IV in Clothing Produce and Design. It was through this course that she did two weeks' work experience at a costume shop, this is where she discovered the world of costume and fell in love.

Bronwyn has also enjoyed making a thank you quilt for the coordinators for the year in the Son course she did, from all the students. She has also designed and made a dress for her friend's 21st birthday party.

Bronwyn is currently working in a costume shop, and she's also making a lion's head for the production of A Mid Summer Night's Day.
