The gloves were off and the masks were on last night at our Masked & Dangerous party. It was a night where freedom of character wasn't just a statement, but a living and breathing notion. Venture down the steps into Deep Eleven...

A world full of mystery and costume surrounds you as you are greeted by the many wonderful and unique characters apart of 'The Masked and The Dangerous'... Watch out! It's the Pollution Monster straight ahead. With his black rubber and monstrous fluorescent horns he's pretty hard to miss as he guards the doorway to the other realm. You pass him with ease, but not before he brands you with a stamp on your hand.

Now you properly see where you are and the world you're in and you know it's something special. Take a journey back in time with the historical costumes. Or travel to Japan to meet a Geisha. Anything is possible. Yet everything is a mystery with identities hidden in an array of beautiful masks. From a Rococo wig inspired mask, to someone who felt the urge to be masked by two white hands, masks are the key to releasing the person within.

You look to your left and see some funky red ballerinas in polka dots and sparkles hopping around. You look to your right and find a striking Asian girl dressed like a dark and untamed assassin, corseted and with a wire mask concealing one eye in a secretive manner. But this is just the beginning...

There's a dominatrix woman with a sexy red coat, tribal warriors, lacy women with bulbous bustles, mystifying men with long coats and jackets, women morphed with tigers, and cats, and birds OH MY! Shiver-me-timbers... an Alabaster Pirate, a true blue Aussie girl who's patriotism is as strong as... oh I don't know... let's say wearing the Australian flag, a champion male tennis player, a gorgeous blue dress on a woman with a larger than life rack and a personality to match, a girl who is a dark angel dressed in black PVC and large black feather wings and many more magical and inspiring characters filling the marvellous world that is the animated imagination.

Surrounding you are an array of masks plastered onto the walls bringing them to life and allowing them to play along with the characters they enclose. Fans, Fans, and more fans are added to the mix; coming together to give you a sense of grandeur. A Lovers' Lounge lingers in the corner waiting patiently for someone to embrace its white wispy drapery for some private time with that special person.

You are in a world of magic and intrigue. Everything is possible, everyone is free and most important of all, everyone enjoys themselves...
